For the reveal of the San Diego Wave's Balboa Park-inspired 2026 kit, the setting had to match the story. Skylark produced a full jersey launch event at Balboa Park's Plaza de Panama, designing an exhibition-style fan experience with walkable jersey displays, photo activations, youth programming, and a Jameson VIP lounge overlooking the square. Players rotated through four zones across the evening while an MC hosted on-stage kit reveals and player interviews. Skylark managed everything from city permitting and vendor coordination to sponsor integration and day-of show flow.

Skylark helped turn a name and crest reveal into a full-scale celebration. From strategy to execution, Skylark worked hand-in-hand with club leadership and creative partners to launch Denver Summit FC with purpose, personality, and local pride.

Skylark helped plan and execute the launch, from internal brand rollout to external storytelling, ensuring the club’s identity was introduced with clarity and meaning. Working alongside design collaborators at Matthew Wolff Design and Wunder Werkz, Skylark supported the brand positioning, messaging, and rollout cadence to generate earned media and drive revenue

The Brand Launch Block Party at McGregor Square brought the new club to life in front of more than 4,000 fans. Skylark led operational planning, managed production and oversaw vendor and venue relationships. Skylark brought Denver Summit FC’s new identity to life through a suite of assets for the brand launch, including promotional and sponsor-integrated assets, and large-scale event visuals.

To tell the Brand Launch story across the club’s owned and operated channels, Skylark developed and executed a multi-platform content plan, anchored by a campaign launch video and bolstered by social content, real-time event coverage, and media-ready photo and video assets.

As part of the Brand Launch, Skylark helped create a fully revamped club website in collaboration with Rhombus Rose Studio. The new site seamlessly integrated e-commerce, ticketing, content, and brand storytelling.

Skylark partnered with the National Women’s Soccer League to bring a bold idea to life: a floating soccer pitch on the San Francisco Bay to kick off Championship Week.

From ideation to execution, Skylark supported the NWSL in transforming a barge into a fully operational soccer field beneath the Golden Gate Bridge. The activation served as a striking visual anchor for the league’s biggest week of the year and showcased the NWSL’s momentum on a national stage.

The floating pitch helped kick off a record-setting Championship Week for the league. CBS delivered live coverage from the pitch, and CBS Mornings returned for a second straight year with a live broadcast from PayPal Park. The activation was amplified across social and press channels, helping generate massive reach and attention.

Skylark was proud to support the league on this boundary-pushing activation. The floating pitch captured the imagination of fans and media alike, serving as a striking symbol of what’s possible in women’s sports.

Spotlighting the Next Generation with e.l.f. 

As part of its new multi-year partnership with the NWSL, e.l.f. hosted a live activation of the 

 Contest on the floating pitch. The open tryout series is part of e.l.f.’s broader mission to level the playing field for women in sports by creating opportunities for aspiring athletes to shine.

The event brought together players, influencers, and media for a fun and high-energy soccer skills competition on the barge, offering visibility, access, and inspiration to the next generation of soccer players. The Glow for Glory campaign extended across social and digital, generating strong traction through a coordinated rollout with Footballco, INDIVISA, and the NWSL.

When Denver Summit FC was ready to announce the signing of Lindsey Heaps, a Colorado native, World Cup champion, Olympic gold medalist, and one of the most accomplished players in the game, Skylark helped to build and execute the full communications strategy.

Skylark developed a cross-functional announcement plan spanning PR, media relations, and content strategy. The rollout included a press release, athlete bio, embargoed media outreach to national and local outlets, and a virtual press conference with Heaps, club GM Curt Johnson, Head Coach Nick Cushing, President Jen Millet, and controlling owner Rob Cohen. Skylark also coordinated a multi-day social content rollout designed to build momentum, drive ticket and merchandise sales, and establish Heaps as the face of the franchise.

Charged with finding Siete's first soccer ambaassador, Skylark worked to find the right partnership between player and brand who share the same vision and values. Naomi, the daughter of Ethiopian immigrants, and Siete, founded by a Mexican-American family, both embody stories of heritage, resilience, and community.

Since joining Siete in 2023, Naomi has emerged as one of the best players in the world, significantly boosting the partnership’s visibility.

Throughout the partnership, Naomi has showcased her affinity for Siete products through initiatives focused on community, wellness, and inclusivity. Events like

The NWSL partnered with Skylark to create a high-impact activation that would generate cultural buzz and elevate the league’s visibility. The Swarovski crystal-encrusted soccer ball, created in collaboration with the women-owned company Beyond Diamonds, was showcased at select matches throughout the NWSL season kickoff. Skylark oversaw the creative development and execution of the campaign, managing media outreach, player and influencer engagement, and game-day activations while crafting a marketing strategy that maximized the visibility of the tour.

Skylark worked closely with NWSL to implement a comprehensive marketing campaign that integrated the Crystallized Ball into the league’s season opener, beginning in Kansas City and culminating in Washington, D.C. The tour, which also made a stop in Los Angeles, attracted significant media attention and fan engagement. Each game featured standout activations, including celebrity appearances, on-site photo opportunities, and social media coverage that boosted fan awareness and excitement for the NWSL season.

The event ran from doors to wrap across multiple live matches, with continuous programming, activations, and energy from start to finish.

“Dear Los Angeles, You’re Welcome.”

The $28,000 print ad became an instant sensation. Its bold simplicity and unapologetic tone reflected Zlatan’s larger-than-life persona, driving massive local, national, and global coverage. With over $1 billion in estimated publicity value, the ad remains one of the most iconic creative executions in MLS history.

As part of the overall strategy, messaging came directly from Zlatan—not the club—giving him full ownership of the moment. He amplified the campaign with appearances on

How do you introduce Zlatan Ibrahimovic, one of the world’s most recognized and iconic soccer players? 

As part of a multi-faceted David Beckham statue project, the LA Galaxy worked with James Corden and the Late Late Show to put together a piece of content that would help tell the story of the newly sculpted Beckham Statue that was soon to be the signature piece of art at the front of Dignity Health Sports Park.

The concept was pitched and discussed directly with James Corden. Once Beckham’s team was on board, the LA Galaxy, the Late Late Show and David Beckham’s support team worked to craft one of the most watched pranks in television history. All involved went at great lengths to construct a replica statue, off-kilter celebration video and a staged “statue unveiling” complete with actors and misnomers. The prank has been viewed 50 million times on YouTube and was shared across millions of social platforms while garnering traditional media and engagement for the official statue unveiling.
