Skylark led creative development and oversaw production on San Diego Wave FC’s creative set during their 23023 media day, capturing video and photography to be used across all the organization’s assets, owned and operated platforms and in-stadium creative.

Skylark worked with the Wave to develop a unique look that would make use of the team’s blue and pink color palette in order to be versatile enough to work seamlessly across all digital and social media assets and have a big-time feeling that could translate well to a jumbotron at Snapdragon stadium.

On production day, Skylark staffed and executed the entire on-set operation, capturing more than 50 scenes – with each player in multiple looks. 

Skylark saw the project through to completion by overseeing post-production on the hype video to play in-stadium, producing the edit and managing delivery of the piece that would air right as the players walked onto the field. 

Skylark played a part as the San Diego Wave experienced the largest Home Opener attendance in NWSL history.
