The launch day began with a national media conference call featuring team ownership, securing top-tier placements such as a front-page feature in the Denver Post. A high-profile press conference followed, where team ownership, the Governor of Colorado, and the Mayor of Denver addressed local media. The day continued with a VIP reception attended by community leaders and capped off with a fan rally that drew more than 2,000 fans eager to celebrate their new club.

Skylark’s strategic approach generated remarkable results. The newly launched DenverNWSL.com, featuring full Shopify integration, drove 6,500 season ticket deposits in under a week—an NWSL record for the fastest expansion franchise to surpass 5,000 deposits. The deposit campaign generated more than $341,000 in revenue, setting the stage for a successful inaugural season.

The launch generated 200+ media stories in 48 hours, with coverage from The Associated Press, CNBC, Yahoo! Sports, Reuters, and The New York Times/The Athletic, resulting in over 1 billion total impressions. On social media, more than 132 posts across major platforms garnered 25M+ potential views, with collaborations from the Colorado Rockies, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rapids, and NWSL amplifying the announcement.
